20.01.2012:- On the call of United Forum, day long DHARNA organised at PGMTD Campus today on 20-01-2012. about 50 Members of United Forum Participated in Dharna. 18.01.2012:- CHQ Leadership of UF has decided to intensify organisational action programmes against reluctant attitude of BSNL Management towards our demands:-

• Mass Dharna on 20th Jan'2012 at all SSAs/Circles/BSNL HQ level

• 3 Days Mass Dharna w.e.f. 15^th Feb'2012 to 17^th Feb'2012 at all SSAs/ Circles / BSNL CO level

• In additional to this "Work According to Rules" & "Non-Co-operation Movement" will also start by 9.00 Hrs on 15^th Feb'2012 to indefinite period till the settlement of our demands.

During three days dharna programme 100% executives are to participate in three batches to make the programme a grand success.

09.01.2012: Programmes of Protest actions by the United Forum of Executive Associations i.e. AIBSNLEA, SNEA(I)  and AIGETOA to impress upon the management to immediately abandon the arbitrary move to recruit Sr. DGMs and Jt. GMs in direct contravention of existing BSNLMS RRs and also to process the legitimate demand of standard IDA pay scales of E2 and E3 for JTOs and SDEs.

• Country wide Lunch hour  Demonstrations  at  Corporate / CGM / GM Hqs. on 16-01-2012.

• Full day Dharna at Corporate / Circle / SSA Hqs on 20-01-2012.

25.12.2011: 3rd District conference of Jaipur TD has been concluded on 24-12-2011 in Glorious manner. The hall of Hotel Diana Palace was full to its capacity. In the Open Session our esteemed guests Shri D.K.Maheshwari Sr.GM(CFA) and Shri Arun Agarwal Sr.GM(CM) of Jaipur SSA added the shine to its glory. The legend of AIBSNLEA and our dream Leaders beloved General Secretary Com Prahlad Rai and beloved President Com P.Venugopal turned this occasion to a mile stone. Presence of Com Bhagwan Singh, AGS(HQ), Com Devesh Kumar, OS(North), Com. Karan Singh, Advisor CHQ, Com P.R.Leel, Circle President, Com O.P.Jat, Circle Secretary, all other Circle Office bearers and Guests from sister Branches made this occasion memorable.

Very important deliberations were held in respect of Viability of BSNL and welfare of all of us. The Leaders explained all the issues in details while senior officers on dais elaborated the path of survival of the BSNL. Every issue from Local to All India Level were touched.

20.12.2011: In partial modification of the notice of 3rd Branch Conference of AIBSNLEA Jaipur Telecom District  Branch issued vide letter no. AIBSNLEA/PGMTD/JP/2008-10/55 dt. 08-12-2011. The commencement of Branch Conference will take place at 14:30 Hrs. instead of 17:00 Hrs. on dated 24-12-2011.

13.12.2011: JAC emphatically decides to go on strike on 15.12.2011: The JAC meeting took place today under the chairmanship of Com. G.L.Jogi, has unanimously taken the following decisions.

1. To powerfully conduct the strike on 15.12.2011. The strike will be from 0600 hrs to 1800 hrs.

2. To block the non-opted ITS officers from entering the offices on the day of the strike, i.e., on 15.12.2011.

President and FS attended the meeting.

All the Branch Office Bearers / EB Members of Branch are requested to mobilize the members for active participation in One Day Strike on 15.12.2011.

21.11.2011: DHARNA on 22^nd Nov.'2011: BSNL/MTNL Management has stopped repatriation of non-optee ITS Officers ignoring DoT repatriation order dated 03.11.2011. Also convinced DoT administration to retain them for next 4-5 months and during this period RRs of DGM/GM/CGM are being framed arbitrarily in such way that so these non-optee ITS Officers continue in BSNL/MTNL through back door entry.

BSNL/MTNL has sufficient absorbed Group 'A' HAG/SAG/JAG level executives  to maintain the telecom operations of BSNL/MTNL but BSNL/MTNL Managements are not at all interested  to entrust the responsibility to these absorbed executives, they are only interested to continue with  these ITS Officers who are not at all willing to get absorbed in BSNL.

To protest against such unethical & conspired approach of BSNL/MTNL Managements, United Forum of BSNL/MTNL Executives Associations Call for DHARNA on 22^nd Nov'2011 this has to be very successfully implemented. The future course of action programme plans will be communicated shortly.

17.11.2011: Meeting with Shri Milind Deora, Hon'ble MOSC&IT: GS. President AIBSNLEA, GS, AGSs of SNEA(I), GS/TEAM & GS/MEA of MTNL met Hon'ble MOS for C&IT Sh. Milind Deora & expressed  their sincere gratitude & thanks for granting us meeting.  We discussed with MOSC&IT the status of absorption process of   Group -'A' officers in BSNL/MTNL and apprised MOSC&IT about sinister efforts and game plan of BSNL/ MTNL Managements to derail the process.

Hon'ble MOSC&IT gave a very patient hearing fully understanding the implications of continuing duality on viability of BSNL/MTNL and mentioned that he is fully aware of the issue and assured he will try for early solution of the problem. MOSC&IT was fully convinced that BSNL/MTNL should have their own managements.

17.11.2011: GS, President AIBSNLEA, GS, AGSs SNEA(I) , GS TEAM (MTNL) & GS(MEA) MTNL met the concern officer of DoT and discussed the ongoing situation of ITS absorption issue in BSNL/MTNL. We expressed our serious resentment against the non implementation of DoT order dated 03.11.2011, which is adversely affecting the viability of BSNL/MTNL. On our query that whether DoT has revised the above order to stop further repatriation of deputationists. Concern Officers of DoT categorically mentioned that there is no change in DoT order and all deputationists are to be relieved compulsorily. It was informed that as per the BSNL/MTNL management feedback the existing executives are not interested to own the higher / additional responsibilities. On this we explained that it not true since the charge is not at all offered to them. They assured to look into the matter.

16.11.2011: Decisions taken in the JAC Meeting held on 16^th November 2011: The meeting of the Joint Action Committee held on 16^th November 2011 took very important decisions with regard to defending the BSNL and its workers. The meeting was presided over by Com. G.L.Jogi, GS SNEA. Com. V.A.N.Namboodiri, Convener, JAC reported about the developments after the last meeting held on 31^st October 2011. The house was of the strong opinion that the non-opted ITS officers should be repatriated immediately. GS and President attended the meeting.

After thorough discussion, the following decisions were taken unanimously:

1. The deferred One Day Strike on the BSNL and Workers issues will now be organised on 15^th December 2011. Some additions were made in the Charter of Demands already approved by the earlier JAC.  The Strike Notice will be modified accordingly. Strike Notice will be served on 17^th November.

2. In preparation for the strike and to give wide propaganda, massive rallies with maximum participation of workers will be organised on 8^th December 2011 at all SSAs/Circles and Corporate Office. A memorandum on the demands raised in the strike notice will be submitted to the State Governors for onward submission to the Central government.

3. The JAC meeting decided to support and participate in the Dharna on 22^nd November 2011 being organised by the United Forum of Executive Associations demanding immediate repatriation of non-opted ITS officers.

4. The JAC will meet the CMD BSNL, Secretary DOT and Minister Communications in order to get the repatriation of non-opted ITS officers at the earliest.

5. The JAC unanimously decided to participate in the Parliament March being organised on 25^th November 2011 by the Central/State Government, Teachers, Railway, Defence, Postal employees as also Central / BSNL Pensioners against the anti-worker Pension Fund Regulatory and Development Authority (PFRDA) Bill presented in the Parliament. 

The meeting came to an end at 1830 hours after vote of thanks.

04-11-2011:- Hon'ble AP CAT Hyderabad not granted stay order against ITS officers absorption process in BSNL: Two SLPs filed by 16 & 17 ITS officers in Hon'ble CAT Hyderabad was heard for two days i.e. 31.10.2011 & 02.11.2011 and judgment deliver today, wherein stay order has not been granted against ITS Officers absorption process in BSNL. The case is posted for hearing in the next month i.e. First week of Dec'2011.
